When may professional floor care be useful?
Machine cleaning may help where accessible hard floors have accumulated traffic soil, ordinary grease or residues that routine mopping no longer removes evenly. Polishing may be considered only for a compatible finish. Deep scratches, loose tiles, failed coatings, moisture damage and etched stone require repair or restoration rather than cleaning alone.

The exact material, finish, manufacturer guidance and previous products are checked before tools or chemistry are selected. A small test may be required.
How is floor cleaning planned?
The floor is identified, loose soil is removed and a test area confirms the selected pad, brush, product and water level. Work zones are controlled until the surface is dry enough for normal use.

Use a suitable brush or pad, controlled chemistry and water recovery for the agreed floor.

Polish only when compatible, remove residue and keep the area controlled during drying.
What should be shared before floor cleaning?
Send photographs in daylight, approximate square metres, floor material if known, property use and close images of stains, joints and damage. List previous waxes, sealers, coatings or cleaning products where possible.

- Plan pedestrian, staff and customer access around controlled work zones.
- Report loose tiles, raised edges, exposed wiring and active leaks.
- Confirm water, drainage, electricity and equipment access.
Wet floors must remain controlled and signed until safe to use. A fixed reopening time cannot be promised before the floor and conditions are assessed.

What is excluded from floor cleaning and polishing?
The service does not automatically include parquet sanding, stone grinding, crystallisation, honing, sealing, waxing, coating removal, epoxy application, grout repair, tile replacement, moisture remediation or structural levelling. These tasks require a separately defined specialist scope.

What determines the floor-cleaning quote?
Pricing depends on square metres, floor type, finish, condition, furniture, edges, stairs, stain types, required passes, water recovery, access and drying constraints. All floor-care work is quoted individually.
