When Can Ozone Treatment Be Considered?
Ozone may be reviewed for residual smoke, pet, vacancy, damp-event or organic odours in suitable rooms, rentals, commercial spaces or vehicle interiors. It is considered only after the odour source and material condition are understood.
- Residual odour remains after source removal and compatible cleaning.
- The space can be fully vacated and access controlled.
- Ventilation and material sensitivity can be assessed before treatment.
What Can an Ozone-Treatment Scope Include?
The scope defines the treatment space, source preparation, items that must be removed, access control, equipment placement, operating cycle, ventilation and return instruction. No result is assumed for concealed or continuing sources.
How Does Ozone Differ From Deodorisation?
Deodorisation is the broader source-first service and may use cleaning, removal, ventilation or another compatible method. Ozone treatment is one specific controlled method and is recommended only when it fits the remaining odour and space.
Find the source
Identify smoke residue, animal contamination, dampness, waste or another continuing cause.
Complete prerequisite work
Clean, remove or repair the source where possible before considering ozone.
Select the method
Use ozone only when the vacant-space and material assessment supports it.
How Is the Space Prepared?
Preparation is issued for the actual property. People, animals and plants leave the controlled space, and sensitive items, food, ventilation and access are handled according to the agreed procedure.
- Report room volume, ventilation, materials and the strongest odour locations.
- Describe smoke, pets, moisture, pests, cleaning and earlier odour products.
- Do not enter or restart equipment until the return instruction is given.
Never operate an ozone generator in an occupied space or use a consumer timer as proof that re-entry is safe.
Health and result limits
What Ozone Treatment Does Not Promise
The service does not promise purified air, complete pathogen removal, mould remediation, permanent odour elimination or restoration of damaged porous materials. Ozone cannot correct an active leak, carcass, waste source or contaminated material that remains.
- Treatment concentrations are harmful to inhale.
- Some rubber, fabrics, finishes and electronics may be sensitive.
- Persistent odour may require removal, repair or further cleaning rather than another cycle.
Return is permitted only after the site-specific cycle, ventilation and completion conditions are met.
What Determines the Ozone-Treatment Quote?
Ozone treatment is priced by quote. Space volume, source, materials, preparation, access control, ventilation, vehicle or property type and related cleaning affect the proposal.
