When should you request snake capture and removal?
Contact us when a snake is visible inside a home, business or accessible outbuilding; remains in a courtyard or terrace used by people or pets; enters a reachable void; or is repeatedly seen near an occupied route. A shed skin or an unclear photograph alone does not confirm that a snake is currently present.
- A visible snake is inside an occupied room, entrance, garage or accessible storage area.
- The animal remains in a yard, terrace or route used by children, residents, staff or pets.
- A snake entered beneath accessible furniture or into a visible, reachable gap.
- Repeated sightings suggest an access or shelter condition that should be reviewed.
- The species is uncertain and approaching it would create unnecessary bite risk.
What can the service include?
The agreed scope may include remote intake, safe site observation, control of the immediate work area, capture of an accessible snake and removal from the occupied property. Entry-point observations can be recorded, but building repairs, structural opening and species certification are separate from the capture request.
How is a snake-removal request handled?
The request starts with the current location and whether the snake is still visible. Safe photographs may help, but they do not guarantee species identification. At the property, access and risk are checked before any capture attempt. If the animal has disappeared or the space cannot be controlled safely, the next step may be monitoring or a separate access assessment.
Remote triage
Share the property area, last known position, movement direction and whether doors, pets or people are nearby.
Site assessment
Confirm visibility, working distance, escape routes, hiding spaces, height and safe separation of occupants.
Agreed response
Attempt controlled capture only when the animal and working conditions are suitable; explain any follow-up access recommendation separately.
What should you do before the technician arrives?
Move away slowly, keep people and pets out of the area, and observe only from a protected distance if this is safe. Do not block the snake's path, move furniture, open a void or take a close photograph. Tell us immediately if anyone or any pet has been bitten.
- Do not touch, chase, strike, pin, poison or attempt to place the snake in a container.
- Keep children, visitors and pets behind a closed barrier when this can be done without approaching the animal.
- Share a wide photograph only from a safe protected position; digital zoom is preferable to moving closer.
- Note the last visible location and direction of movement without following into vegetation, debris or a void.
- Do not enter a confined space, climb, dismantle furniture or reach into a hiding place.
A bite requires prompt medical or veterinary attention. The snake-removal service is not medical care.

Never try to capture a snake yourself
Official public-health guidance advises people not to touch, handle or trap snakes. If a bite occurs, move away from the animal and seek emergency medical attention without waiting for symptoms. Do not cut the wound, suck venom, apply ice or use a tourniquet; follow the instructions of medical professionals.
- A photograph may support triage but cannot guarantee species, venom status or the correct medical treatment.
- No capture attempt is promised when the snake is missing, inaccessible or the work area cannot be made safe.
- The service excludes medical treatment, veterinary treatment, structural dismantling, unsafe height work and confined-space entry.
- Removal does not make a property snake-proof; sealing or habitat work requires a separate site-specific scope.
Do not delay emergency care while trying to photograph, catch or kill the snake.
What determines the price of snake removal?
Snake capture and removal is priced by quote. The final scope depends on whether the snake remains visible, indoor or outdoor location, access, hiding depth, height, working-space control, property type and any separate inspection or entry-point work. An approved trip beyond Tbilisi adds 100 GEL after availability and location are confirmed.
